Kmart Career Job Opportunities

Kmart is truly a wonderful company to work for.  They really value their employees, and they go out of their way to try to foster a fun, yet highly productive team player atmosphere.  If you're interested in applying for a job with Kmart, I will be more than happy to assist you with that!

First of all, you need to go to the main Kmart website.  Next, scroll down to the very bottom of the home page and click on the link that says About Kmart.  Once you do that, a small menu of links will pop up for you to choose from.  From that pop up menu, you should click on the Careers link.  You should then be brought to another web page that says Sears Holdings Corporation at the very top of the screen.  You will then need to scroll down that page just a bit until you see a subheading that says Entry Level & Hourly Jobs.  Right below that is a link that says Search For Jobs.  Go ahead and click on that link.  You will then be brought to a page that has various types of jobs available for you to choose from.

Next, click on the link that says Apply for Kmart Store Hourly Jobs.  This will then bring you to Kmart's online job application.  Scroll to the bottom of the page and click on either English or Spanish, depending on which one is your primary language.  On the next page, read the information provided about Kmart's workplace policies and then click the start button at the bottom of the page.  On the following page, you'll need to again read the information and then click on the continue button.  From that point on, filling out the rest of their online job application is pretty self explanatory.  Just be sure to carefully follow the directions, and you should be all set!

Please be sure to be completely honest on the application when it comes to your work history, etcetera.  Chances are extremely good that the human resources department at Kmart will contact your former employers to verify that you really did work for the places that you have listed on your application.  Therefore, even if you might be tempted to embellish a bit on your application in order to make yourself look more experienced than perhaps you really are, you really don't want to do that.  The reason for this is if Kmart discovers you've lied about certain things on your application, then they simply aren't going to want to hire you.

I wish you the best of luck, and I hope that you enjoy working at Kmart for many years to come!
